Funding application

Beneficiary: MONTANA PANEL Industrial and Trading Ltd.

Project Title: Installation of Small-Scale Photovoltaic (PV) Power Generation Systems at the Buildings of MONTANA PANEL Ltd. Located at Property No. 025/56

Contracted Grant Amount: HUF 16,559,400

Grant Intensity: 55%

Project Description

The primary objective of the project was to reduce the Company's operating costs through the efficient use of locally generated renewable energy. To achieve this objective, MONTANA PANEL Ltd. submitted a funding application under the GINOP-4.1.4-19-2019 call for proposals launched by the European Union and the Government of Hungary. The project was approved for funding by the Managing Authority. As part of the investment, two grid-connected photovoltaic (PV) systems, each with a connection capacity of 50 kVA, were installed and commissioned on the roof structures of the Company's production halls. Both buildings are located at 8111 Seregélyes, Jánosmajor Industrial Zone, Property No. 025/56, Hungary. The PV system installed on Building 19 consists of 187 EXE SOLAR AEXM monocrystalline photovoltaic modules, each with a nominal output of 340 W. The modules are configured into eight strings connected to one FRONIUS Symo 20.0-3-M inverter and two FRONIUS Symo 15.0-3-M three-phase grid-connected inverters, providing a total connection capacity of 50 kVA. The PV installation on Building 20 comprises 165 EXE SOLAR AEXM monocrystalline photovoltaic modules, each rated at 340 W. The DC power generated by the modules is converted into AC power by one FRONIUS ECO 25.0-3-S inverter and two FRONIUS Symo 12.5-3-M inverters. All inverter units are equipped with integrated grid-connection and monitoring capabilities, enabling the collection, processing, and web-based visualization of operational performance data. In compliance with applicable technical standards and regulatory requirements, surge protection devices were also installed to ensure the safe operation of the electrical system. Following successful technical inspection and commissioning, the photovoltaic systems were officially handed over and put into operation by MONTANA PANEL Ltd. As a result of the investment, the Company's annual primary energy consumption has been reduced by 710.09 GJ, while annual greenhouse gas emissions have decreased by 99.04 tonnes of CO₂ equivalent.
